GBIS747 Final Exam Study Guide
The final exam is worth 48 points
and consists of two parts. Part A contains Multiple Choice, True/False,
Matching and other questions that can be automatically graded by Blackboard.
Part B contains four to six
essay questions. Each part of
the exam will be worth 24 points.
- To prepare for Part A:
- Review prior quizzes. Many
of the questions for Part A will be drawn from prior quizzes or will
be similar to those questions.
- Review lecture slides.
- In case you have downloaded all slides in prior weeks, slides
for Weeks 1 through 7 can be found in
this
winzip archive.
- Sort by date modified to order the Powerpoint files by week.
- To prepare for Part B:
- Review lecture slides.
- Be prepared to answer any of the following questions or questions
very similar to the following questions.
- Explain what is different
about maintaining a system that uses Web Services from
maintaining a system that has been built using traditional programming.
- Why is disaster recovery
important for Enterprise Software systems?
- List the major steps
involved in planning and installing SAP Software (given a description
of the business). Most of this information is in Weeks 6 and 7.
- Also, given the same business description from Question 3 above,
determine if SAP Business Suite, SAP All-in-one, SAP business-by-design,
or SAP business-one is the best option for the described business.
- Explain why it is almost always necessary to change business processes
when installing Enterprise Software.
- What are the major functions in an SAP component I will select
(SAP HRM, SAP CRM, SAP ERP Operations). There is too much information
to memorize to answer this. Therefore, the way to prepare for
this is to have a copy of the relevant slides available or to prepare
a list ahead of time. This will save you time during the exam.
